Tonight on Stage! KEM headlines at National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex

ENNIS, Texas (Aug. 2, 2012) – Billboard Record of the Year artist, KEM, will be on stage at the National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex, on Saturday, Aug. 4.
KEM was born in Nashville, but raised in the heart of Motown’s Detroit and has been playing the piano since he was just 5 years old. He has earned gold records, accolades, honors and cultivated legions of fans throughout his career. The R&B singer/songwriter also produces his own albums.
KEM will be the headline act during the biggest biker rally in Texas when more than 20,000 bikers are expected to take part in the events of the National Bikers Roundup Aug. 1-5.

THURSDAY, AUG. 2 –Events and activities registration 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Table games noon – 3 p.m.; Kids station noon – 7 p.m.; Drag racing 5 p.m. – midnight; Live music 7 p.m.; Headline concert: LJ Echols.
FRIDAY, AUG. 3 – Events and activities registration 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Opening ceremony noon; Table games noon – 8 p.m.; Kids station noon – 7 p.m.; Drag racing 5 p.m. – midnight; Sister-to-Sister conference 3-8 p.m.; Stunt show 4, 7 & 8:30 p.m.; Live music 7 p.m.; Headline concert: Zapp.
SATURDAY, AUG. 4 – Events and activities registration 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Table games noon – 3 p.m.; Kids station noon – 7 p.m.; Stunt show 4, 7 & 8:30 p.m.; Drag racing 5 -10 p.m.; Live music 7 p.m.; Headline concert: KEM.

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
