On Stage Tonight! Zapp brings the Funk and the Groove to National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex

ENNIS, Texas (Aug. 2, 2012) – Billboard platinum album recording artists, Zapp, will be on stage at the National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex, on Friday, Aug. 3.
Zapp has been producing funk and R&B music for more than 30 years and has recorded top 20 albums, top three hits and earned legions of fans around the world.
Zapp was formed around the Troutman brothers, Lester, Larry and Roger, and has since taken on an identity all their own. Check out the music here: thezappband.com and see them live at Texas Motorplex during the biggest biker rally in Texas.
The event will feature drag racing, a kid’s activities center, games, contests, a Harley-Davidson riding experience, professional exhibition races, vendors and more. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. Live music is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
