The February 15 deadline for ticket renewal orders for the 28^th annual AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals at Texas Motorplex is fast approaching.  Don’t miss out on your opportunity to receive a FREE parking pass to an exclusive pit-side lot when you renew four or more tickets by the deadline.

The AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals is not only one of the highlights of the NHRA professional season, but it’s also the second of six playoff events. Racers who win at the Motorplex have a knack of moving on to the series championship. Two of the event winners in 2012 earned the category championship titles.

The 2012 defending champions are Antron Brown (Top Fueler went on to win the NHRA Full Throttle world championship), Bob Tasca III (Funny Car), Allen Johnson (Pro Stock event champion also went on to claim the world category title), and Michael Ray (Pro Stock Motorcycle).

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
