Opening day of the pro sessions of the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals was washed out by rain, but NHRA and Texas Motorplex officials have loaded up a Saturday full of HOT racing action with pro qualifying in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. But that’s not all.
The AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals on Saturday will also feature a nostalgia Funny Car exhibition, jet car exhibition, fireworks and more. Great weather will greet fans and the racers seeking valuable Countdown championship points in the second of six playoff races.
Fans without parking passes will have to be bused in from the high school football stadiums in Ennis and Waxahachie. Anyone with a parking pass can get in through Gate 20. Racers and handicap pass holders can enter through Gate 10.
Tickets for the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals are still available. Anyone who purchased a Friday ticket can show up at the main spectator gate and trade them in AT NO ADDITIONAL COST for south side reserved seats with pit passes.

Saturday, Sept. 21 is packed with sportsman eliminations and the final two rounds of professional qualifying at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Gates open at 7:30 a.m.
Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, with pre-race ceremonies at 10 a.m. and final eliminations getting under way at 11 a.m.
