TOP NAMES IN STREET RACING SIGN UP FOR THE CHALLENGE OF
THE BIGGEST NO PREP EVENT IN 2017
Redemption Takes over Texas Motorplex May 26-27
ENNIS, Texas (March 14, 2017) – Let’s face it… we know racers tend to be on the competitive side of life. They strive to go faster, quicker and better than everyone else. If a racer isn’t competitive, they go home first.
Competing on the biggest stage? That gets the adrenaline flowing even more.
Redemption…. Meet Texas Motorplex.
Texas Motorplex…. Meet Redemption.
Once again, the baddest no prep racers in the country will be on the biggest stage with even more on the line. It’s not just about the cash, trophies or a chance to win a fully trimmed out enclosed race trailer.
This kind of racing includes trash talking and grudge-style bragging rights. Win, or shut up and go home.
Did we mention? Redemption is a points series. Every. Round. Counts.
Redemption will be at Texas Motorplex twice in 2017. The first time will be the ultimate can’t-miss event with stars scheduled to race from the Oklahoma City Street Outlaws crew including Daddy Dave, Monza, Doc, Boosted GT, Chuck in the Death Trap, Sonoma, Kamikaze Chris, Dominator and Derek with Silver Unit.
Not enough? How about the biggest names from the New Orleans Street Outlaws including The Godfather, Brandon Smith LS Killer and Bobby Ducote Lil Legend?
Still not enough? How about Team Texas Birdman, David Bird Jones, Plan B, James Kay and Flaco?
And guess what? Even more racers will be announced. So let the trash-talking, adrenaline-flowing competition begin.
“Drag racing is by far one of the most competitive sports on the planet and when you have the best group of no prep racers looking to prove who really is the best, Texas Motorplex is the place to be,” Motorplex General Manager Gabrielle Stevenson said. “Shannon Morgan’s Redemption series has the best racers and is the best show for our fans. It’s the second time we will be hosting this type of racing and it’s going to be the must-see event on our 2017 schedule.”
Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
