STROKERS IN DALLAS WILL HOST FIRST EVER REDEMPTION PRE-EVENT FAN PARTY BEFORE BIGGEST NO PREP RACE
Pre-Event Fan Party will be May 25; Redemption Takes over Texas Motorplex May 26-27
ENNIS, Texas (May 8, 2017) – When the Redemption racers make their way to Texas Motorplex May 26-27, it will be the first of four massive events slated for 2017.
Lots of points.
More bragging rights.
Everything is bigger in Texas, so naturally, the event is going to start in a big way before the gates even open.
For the first time ever, there will be a pre-event fan party before Redemption takes over Texas Motorplex. Strokers – the famous Rick Fairless biker entertainment hub – will play host to the pre-event party on Thursday, May 25 from 6-9 p.m. at 9304 Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas.
There will be ticket and swag giveaways (from the Motorplex, Redemption AND Strokers), driver meet-in-greets, music and tons more.
“To be able to have our fans mingle with the racers before the event is a new and exciting experience for us,” Redemption owner Shannon Morgan said. “We continue to grow this series because of the incredible support we have from the best racers and fans in the sport and now we are teamed up with Texas Motorplex. This drag strip has seen so many legends so it’s like a dream-come-true.
“And now we are going to host our pre-event party where Rick Fairless has become a legend in the custom motorcycle world. I think this is going to be a pretty awesome weekend for our racing family all the way around.”
Redemption will be at Texas Motorplex twice in 2017. The first time will be the ultimate can’t-miss event with stars scheduled to race from the Oklahoma City Street Outlaws crew including Daddy Dave, Monza, Doc, Boosted GT, Chuck in the Death Trap, Sonoma, Kamikaze Chris, Dominator and Derek with Silver Unit.
Not enough? How about the biggest names from the New Orleans Street Outlaws including The Godfather, Kye Kelly and Bobby Ducote Lil Legend?
Still not enough? How about Team Texas Birdman, David Bird Jones, Plan B, James Kay and Flaco?
And guess what? Even more racers will be announced. So let the trash-talking, adrenaline-flowing competition begin.
Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.
