BRRRR!!! ! Too cold for racing. We will not be racing Fast Friday tonight due to the dropping temperatures as the sun goes down. However the Texas State Championships are still on for Saturday Oct. 27, Gates opena t 8:00 am and the Racer Appreciation Reception will begin at 6:00 p.m.

ENNIS, Texas (Aug. 2, 2012) – Billboard Record of the Year artist, KEM, will be on stage at the National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex, on Saturday, Aug. 4.
KEM was born in Nashville, but raised in the heart of Motown’s Detroit and has been playing the piano since he was just 5 years old. He has earned gold records, accolades, honors and cultivated legions of fans throughout his career. The R&B singer/songwriter also produces his own albums.
KEM will be the headline act during the biggest biker rally in Texas when more than 20,000 bikers are expected to take part in the events of the National Bikers Roundup Aug. 1-5.

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances. The Billy Meyer-owned facility hosts a number of racing and car show events between March and November each year and also features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.

ENNIS, Texas (Aug. 2, 2012) – Billboard platinum album recording artists, Zapp, will be on stage at the National Bikers Roundup at Texas Motorplex, on Friday, Aug. 3.
Zapp has been producing funk and R&B music for more than 30 years and has recorded top 20 albums, top three hits and earned legions of fans around the world.
Zapp was formed around the Troutman brothers, Lester, Larry and Roger, and has since taken on an identity all their own. Check out the music here: thezappband.com and see them live at Texas Motorplex during the biggest biker rally in Texas.
The event will feature drag racing, a kid’s activities center, games, contests, a Harley-Davidson riding experience, professional exhibition races, vendors and more. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. Live music is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

ENNIS, Texas (Aug. 1, 2012) – The 2012 National Bikers Roundup has begun and gates are now open for all participants, racers, bikers, campers, concert spectators and more.
The National Bikers Roundup features the best food in North Texas, live music, games, activities and more. Tickets are just $20 with club colors for the entire weekend, $30 without club affiliation.
