Texas Motorplex hosts Pro Stock, Pro Mod, and Top Fuel Harley during the 2020 Fall Nationals

ENNIS, Tx (September 16, 2019): Mark your calendars now for the 2020 AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals as an event you don’t want to miss! Texas Motorplex will be the playground for three of the most exciting classes on tour, one of those being the final stop for Top Fuel Harley which means the 2020 Top Fuel Harley Champion will be crowned at Texas Motorplex!

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this exciting and competitive class, Pro Stock will be ready to party big at Texas Motorplex next fall. During their golden year, Pro Stock teams will compete at 18 of the 24 events on the series, five of those events being in the NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship. Things are sure to heat up at Texas Motorplex, as Pro Stock will be right in the middle of the Countdown to the Championship during their Texas stop.

Shifting gears into the Pro Mod class, cars excite and intrigue fans as competitors can use superchargers, turbochargers, or nitrous-oxide injection to run more than 250 mph. In 2020, these fierce competitors will visit a few new stops including the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas. We may see a Champion locked in for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service as Dallas is the next to last stop on the tour for Pro Mods.

If four wheels isn’t exciting enough for you, let’s take away two and head over to our 2020 Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series, which will compete in their 10th and final race in the series at Texas Motorplex. The Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series features NHRA’s only nitromethane-powered two-wheeled bikes. Fans at the Fall Nationals will experience the fastest motorcycle racing action on the circuit with bikes capable of exceeding 220 mph with each pass and races that are regularly decided by just thousandths of a second, and conclude the event by crowning the 2020 Champion on Sunday at Texas Motorplex.

NHRA’s two nitro categories – Funny Car and Top Fuel – will participate at all 24 national events in the 2020 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, including Texas Motorplex. The national event schedule for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will be released later this fall for sportsman classes.
